Santa Run – December 2021
Once again, the neighborhood volunteer fire and ambulance companies delighted the children with their annual parade of decorated firetrucks, floats, and of course Mr. and Mrs. Claus. Goodie Bags were donated by the Mustafa family and the Roberts and Stephens families provided a chance to win a children’s and adult’s door prize.
The Children’s Social committee was happy to host a few winter and spring events, even though Mother Nature threw us a few curve balls with snow storms and rain.
Valentine’s Day – February 2022
The Children’s Social Committee hosted a Make Your Own Valentine’s Day Treats event on February 6th. The kids had a chance to dip and decorate an assortment of pretzels, cookies, brownies, strawberries, and other snacks in their favorite chocolate to make yummy treats. Most were eaten and a few pieces may have made it home to share .
Easter Egg Hunt – April 2022
Our Annual Easter Egg Hunt was held on April 10th. The cold weather and scattered snow showers couldn’t keep these kids from racing around and hunting for over 500 eggs hidden in the playground and by the clubhouse! Everyone enjoyed collecting chocolate and finding the special prize eggs.
