Most activities on this page are being performed by volunteer resources. If you are interested in being involved in any of these or other maintenance activities please contact the office.
Maintenance Monday – November 13 –
Anyone willing and able to help should come to the Clubhouse on Monday morning at 8am. Coffee and an omelet will be available between 8am-9:30am. Bring along any Yard Work tools you have as if weather permitting.
- We need to remove bushes, weeds, overgrowth along the spillway and DAM. We also need to repair a fence post and address any rodent holes.
- If you would like to help and are good inside with painting, we have some work in the clubhouse as well.
- We also need help fixing the chain-link fence behind the playground.
- Primary goal is to get people together that live here and chat over coffee. We can also go after some projects needing attention while having some fun doing it.
Materials and Tools Donations Requested – We know often people have extra construction materials at the end of a project. Although we won’t be able to use everything, we often can use many materials even if you do not have time to donate. This can be materials such as 2 x 4’s or shelving materials, plywood or specific items that will be used by a project such as mulch for the playground (probably rubber mulch). It can also be tools. Please send an email to maintenance@tinkwig.org to find out if there is a use for materials that you are willing to donate.
Playground Repairs – The playground has reopened. Additional work will continue including near the slides and mulch. Thank you for your donations of funds and time to make this happen.
Road Repairs -The Road Committee is continuing to monitor our roads. If you know of an area that needs attention please send an email to twpoa@tinkwig.org.
Bathroom Spruce Up – Framing finish work is almost complete. Work has been started on stabilizing the toilets and re-doing the flooring. Additional light fixtures have been provided by a property owner and will be installed shortly.
Pool Area – The pool has been closed for the season.
Bridge Update – Updates to the Bridge timeline have been added on the website at the following link – Bridge Status. The paperwork has been submitted to the PaDEP as of November 2022 to obtain permission to move ahead with the bridge repair. The PaDEP is severely understaffed and has told us it could be as late as 2024 before we receive permission to move ahead.
